EPIC’s new staff member in Scotland, Simen Jordsmyr Holm, went on his first trip with the organisation to continental Europe when he recently visited Slovakia.
This trip was a chance to meet with colleagues from EPIC’s other European offices in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. During the three-day-visit, Simen had several one-to-one meetings with different colleagues to learn from their experiences and the successes of the projects they have run. EPIC Scotland’s new employee also had the chance to tell his colleagues from the continent about the plans he has for upcoming projects in Scotland.
The eventful trip to Slovakia culminated in a historical meeting as it was the first time all the members of staff from all EPIC’s EU offices came together at once. Everyone displayed a positive cooperative attitude and there were fruitful discussions regarding EPIC’s strategic development. The whole team showed their commitment to continuing working towards EPIC’s vision of including more disadvantaged people into society across the continent!
