Learning to give from a young age is an important life-long lesson that can shape an individual’s perspectives and outlook. The Youth and Philanthropy Initiative (YPI) is one such incredible citizenship programme that is raising awareness amongst youth about philanthropy. Schools that choose to participate in the initiative are responsible for directing a unique programme to nominate a local charity for a £3000 YPI grant.

Recently a group of students from Firrhill High School in Edinburgh chose to nominate EPIC Assist (EPIC) as their charity. They were one of eight entries that presented at their school’s final, and they did an incredible job of representing the EPIC mission and values.

Check out the amazing animation two of their group members, Sia Shetkar and Anisha Srivastava, created as a part of their presentation.
